go to any random book on the shelf..

go to the first paragraph and take the first five nouns you see...and create a poem...

here's mine...

cap, place, driving, ramp, pole

His cap was bouncing in the north wind,
Moving through the city,
Moving through the city streets,
This place, it was desolate, uninviting and cold,
As three Fall leaves danced slowly on the cracking asphalt.

An old man was driving an old delivery truck,
Going through his steady daily routine,
Up the ramp,
On to the highway,
And he would make it to the Poconos and home to the kids,
Where on the third Saturday of every month,
The fishing pole beckoned to his favorite pond,
And the kids, in tow, with their rods,
The soft crackling of the stream,
And everything was all right again.
