As age progressed throughout my life. With it came the hope of wisedom, along with the need to explore, discover & reveal.

My intellectual capacities have been avid in its quest for knowledge, but along the way somewhere, cynicim creeped into my lifes observations.

It took another persons lifes work ie: C.S.Lewis & the Narnia Chronicles & other critic`s views of his work for me to see this quality of cynicism at work within myself.

Revealed in a documentary & book called Planet Narnia by Michael Ward, was not only C.S.Lewis`s path of life, but the way he dealt with it in the Narnia Chronicles, which lay undiscovered until now.C.S.lewis was himself in younger life, a cynic!

Here is my take on it & how it has related to me & others who may feel the pressure of this poke.

`Cynicim for the most part is the bitter & unresolved tongue of lifes pains & disappointments, desperately wanting to both justify & argue its case, laying bare its intellectual armour.

Until one day it inevitably meets in battle, another verbal warrior, who is cleverer & has the truth of love on its side. Then the cynic is struck to the ground. The audience who has listened to the cynic`s arguements-suddenly questions both themselves & the cynic`s case!

In this questioning comes doubt-in doubt, the cynic`s force is no-more.The cynic is left with his original question & no armour.

He cannot look around him for the answers, for all he sees is the tattered remains of a battlefield of words.

His armour is gone & he stands naked.

When the words, in all there numbers fall away like raindrops from a sodden body, all that is left, is what you are, your true, vulnerable self- a young spirit that wants to love & be loved! The essence of YOU, before life bullied you away from your innocence, into accepting the views & fears of others.

Humility brings you to your knees at moments life this, your ego has disappated like a passing storm cloud & your eyes clear to see the glory of this life we live in.

The doors that have slammed behind you & before you, suddenly open to let in the light.

The shining pure truth, that is love & acceptance.

This is the pinnacle of human understanding.

An embracement of all that is YOU & all that is different.

For it is not only YOU that is special, but all that is DIFFERENT, that makes YOU.

To fight against differences is to go to war with yourself.

Our paths may not be the same. The territory passed may be familiar or starange, but the destinations are all the same.

We are seeking ourselves, the core of our souls.

The place of love & friendship.

A place to be accepted & to accept....

HOME...a home that is within & without. A place that walks with you wherever you go....YOU & your HOME are one of the same !
